Kenneth J. Kerr is a newly published author of Life of a Double Agent. He chose the self publishing route and on March 28, 2013, Xlibris published his first fiction novel. It covers a time period of almost four decades from the mid 60’s to the early 2000’s in the lead character’s life as an international businessman, a CIA agent and a mole for the CIA within China’s Ministry of State Security.
Kenneth J. Kerr is retired after a successful business career, which included extensive international travel and living overseas in Hong Kong and Japan for almost a decade. He now lives on Hilton Head Island, SC with his wife, Kryl, and their yellow lab, Etta. They spend the summers at their cottage on Lake Charlevoix, Michigan. Their daughter, Kathryn, lives and works in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Kerr recently released his second novel, a political suspense genre titled, “The First Madam President (and the dirty bombs)’. He wanted to write about the dysfunctional government in Washington, and chose a fictional woman, Carolyn Holliday, for the lead character. She shows with her leadership that it is possible for people with different views to find common ground and solutions to problems. Unfortunately, a scandal in her administration almost derails her presidency. And, all modern day political novels must have some terrorists trying to do bad things. She must confront an Al Qaeda led plot to detonate dirty bombs in Washington D.C. Welcome to Washington, Madam President.
