‘The First Madam President’ update

The United States has not elected a woman President in 238 years. Will it happen in 2016? I have just completed my second novel, “The First Madam President (and the dirty bombs)”. It delves into the current environment in Washington and many of the domestic issues facing our government. Let’s see how my fictional character, Carolyn Holliday, handles the job. Does she have the leadership skills? I’ve made her presidency more challenging by giving her a multiple murder scandal to face, which could destroy her administration. And, of course, all Presidents need a terrorist threat. Al Qaeda is targeting the United States again, seeking revenge for Osama’s death. They plan to detonate several dirty bombs simultaneously around Washington. Ann Hunt, the daughter of Jim Hunt of “Life of a Double Agent”, is a young CIA analyst who must convince the President to do some things she doesn’t want to do.

The book is timely, relevant, and insightful into the challenges of leading the government, regardless of man or woman. I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it.
