‘The Deadliest Game’ by H.E. Joyce book review

Just finished an excellent book and felt a book review was appropriate.

5 Star Review of ‘The Deadliest Game’ by H.E. Joyce

The Best!

A great mystery, suspense, action packed, emotional masterpiece.

H.E. Joyce has written a marvelous story, ‘The Deadliest Game’. His lead character, Laura and her young son, Jody, move to a small town on the coast of Maine from Chicago to start a new life after she tragically becomes a widow. She falls in love with the town’s most eligible bachelor, Michael, a lawyer, and soon they marry. Then the fun begins. Laura is a psychotherapist and meets a very strange client. Laura begins to have some doubts about Michael and hires a private detective to find out if he is having an affair. The story accelerates from there.

Joyce does a great job of describing the characters and the scenes of the story including the great storms that punish the Maine coastline on a fairly regular basis. The story moves along so well that it sounds like a cliché, but I simply could not put the book down. This is one of the best books I have read, extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
