Cherry blossoms in Washington D.C. 2014

DSC00013
Had the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. this past weekend to visit our daughter. Saturday, April 12th was a beautiful day in Washington with clear, blue skies and the temperature near 80 degrees. Truly a gorgeous day with all the cherry blossoms in full bloom. The only downside was the crowds. There were at least one zillion people who also chose to visit Washington that day. It would be an understatement to say Washington was a little crowded. The good news is everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. After a long, cold winter, it is nice that spring has arrived. I have several more photos of Washington D.C. to share, but they will come later.
